I was with my kid, idiot.

He was disappointed sitting in traffic for over 2 hours, only to once again barely fall short of getting the item they were giving away.

At that point, my choice was to call the widely promoted customer service line and see if they could dig up some from the office, or tell my son tough shit, and that we have to leave 3.5 hours in advance if we want anything next time. Ben was very happy with the result of the call.

The Dodgers, with the highest attendance and highest income in baseball, can afford one phone call and bringing me a few cheap items they find around. Compared to the drunks in the bleachers and the gangbangers stabbing each other in the parking lot, I'm a model customer.

Maybe when your kid gets older, you will also do things like this, rather than worrying how a big corporation will feel about you making "entitled" phone calls.
I would probably just buy him a hoodie that fits and isn't plastered with advertisements.
