However, ACR/WPN admitted no fault. They refused to give an explanation for why this happened, and in fact told Moneymaker that they were basically giving John a one-time forgiveness for "what he did", and next time there would be no forgiveness.

Weird. But at least now he has his money and can choose whether or not to continue to take the risk to play there. I actually would have had much less of an issue if they let him take his money, but booted him and said he wasn't welcome anymore. That would have been their right, even though the optics still wouldn't have been very good. Taking his $10,600 with no explanation was what bothered me.

In any case, I would like to thank Chris Moneymaker for getting involved here. Apparently he was the biggest factor in getting this reversed. I was the one who brought it to him, but Chris was the one who actually made it happen. He has been a great ambassador for ACR thus far.
