I posted this thread because the fringe weirdos really are in charge of the Democratic Party. There are plenty of sensible Democrats who don't believe in a lot of the recent craziness, but they are so terrified of being cancelled that they are afraid to stand up and say anything about it.
And I didn't even get into the recent attitudes from the left regarding crime and punishment, which has decimated a number of large cities recently. Woke DAs are refusing to charge so-called "minor" crime, creating a free-for-all for theft and vandalism, which then spills over into more serious crime when anyone tries to get in the way.
Stores are closing and moving out of these cities, and blatant crime is taking place in broad daylight, terrifying people who live there. Guess the color of those most negatively affected by this?
In the meantime, the wokes who support decrimalizing such behavior and zero bail are also the ones living behind safe gated neighborhoods. It's always an exercise in making yourself feel good, rather than actually helping.
