But Brianne could then sue her adult friends of the minor who participated in the crime for her share of the damages.
It's actually not that simple, because these weren't "guests" of Brianne's. They weren't staying in her room.

Remember when you came to meet me in the Rio sportsbook? You specifically came into the Rio to visit me. However, if we were walking around after that, and you destroyed things in a drunken rampage, the responsibilty would be yours, not mine. This would even be true if you came up to my room for an hour or two. On the other hand, if you got drunk and destroyed stuff in my room, then it would definitely be my responsibility, unless I could quikcly have you detained. See the difference?

I still believe that Brianne should only legally be responsible for what was done by her daughter, and not by the other kids.

However, there's the ban issue, where Resorts World could simply take the position that they get reimbursed, or they will ban both Tommy and Brianne permanently. That mostly makes this a moot point, since Tommy wants to be able to go back.

But from a legal standpoint, it's not so clear. I'm not saying I'm sure you're wrong, but you might be.
Each of the Parents should pay for what their OWN children did, not pay for the other Parents' Kids. Let's say you and three of your Adult Friends and each of you have 3 kids. All 10 of go to some Ice Sculpture show.

All of a sudden, all four of you Adults need to pee at around the same time, so you tell the oldest kid who is 13 to stay watch all 5 kids. She agrees, and she is holding the youngest, who is a 1 year old baby. The other 4 kids run to the ice sculpture and play with it, despite the 13 year old strictly telling them not to play with the ice sculpture.

Lo and behold, all four kids end up breaking the VERY expensive ice sculpture that is in the thousands and the People in charge of the ice sculpture show are FURIOUS when all of you Adults come back from peeing. You see the broken ice sculpture and the People in charge of the Ice Sculpture show demand you Adults pay for the damage to the Ice Sculpture, or have Charges pressed.

Technically, each pair of Parents hould ONLY be paying for what their own kids broke, not the other Friends' children. Let's say the Ice Sculpture is $4,000. You and your Wife have 2 kids who were involved in breaking the Ice Sculpture and your two Friends also have two kids who broke the Ice Sculpture. 13 year old and 1 year old baby had nothing to do with the Ice Sculpture being broken and are Brother and Sister. You and your Wife should pay $2,000 for your Kids and your Friends should pay $2,000 for their Kids..
