I quit doing coke a decade before you “called out to God” to help with your crippling alcoholism. I did it because I turned 40 and it was smart, not because my life was a mess. It’s like smoking. Most of the time, if you quit doing shit young, you’ll suffer no ill consequences. Even you being a drunk until almost 60, you’ll likely recover.
