ESPN shows, the stuff other than live sports, is worthless. It's just hawt takes and noise.
Imagine if "Cover Alerts" came back. ESPN once broke in when a team was up 17 and the line was 18. They all got a little scared and killed it.
Give me information I can use and care about. Give me serious info about who will win or lose and why. Even in games that aren't close matchups relative to the line.
Steve Wynn is old, blind and past his expiration date. But if a casino person of his stature and financial means bought ESPN and addressed winning and losing in a serious way - you might have something.

Keep a few of the nonsense shows for lulz if you must.

I am curious how England handles the reality of sports wagering and sports entertainment broadcasting. I am sure it is more evolved.
