I'm 200 miles from London so that campaign never really affected me or mine. Also the IRA openly stated my city was safe due to the huge Irish connection here.

IRA of course had Londoners fearful. But unlike the monsters of today. Most of the time the irish would give some sort of warning which allowed civilians to find cover. But didn't stop many from being murdered in cold blood.

And as much as I despise what the IRA did. Their grievances were kind of legitimate. Britain had plenty of blood on its hands for what went down in Ireland over the years - Just like Palatine have genuine grievance against the land grabbing Israelis.
