But assuming she's full of shit, sure, it's unfair. The leaking of the recording was no fault of his own. But it's still out there. You can't just expect the NBA to ignore it and all the backlash that came with it. This isn't a court of law where the evidence has standards of admissibility. Sponsors are jumping ship and the league is left with a shitstorm on their hands. You can't send the message that you condone that sort of rhetoric.
