In the meantime.... Giants keep on truckin'.
They roll into Philly -- a tough place to play -- and promptly fall behind 3-0, and barely get out of a jam in the 1st which could have made it worse.
Just as you think an L is coming, they erupt for 6 in the top of the 2nd.
Waiting for this team to fall off, but it hasn't happened yet.
On a side note, how overrated is Taijuan Walker? He was good in 2022... and that's about it. He was one of those guys they kept saying would break out and be a star, and it just never happened. I didn't ever see it in him. Last year he was horrendous -- an ERA over 7 in 83 innings pitched -- yet here he is starting for the contending Phillies. So I guess it's not too surprising the Giants came back.
