For the people who are concerned...The only reason I suggested Cmoney playing at the same table with me is to ease his mind about my ability in these games or in some sense manage the money without it ever leaving his sight. And also I thought it would be fun to play at the tables with cmoney and why not do it this way if hes going to play in cash games during the series anyway...I didn't think it was a terrible suggestion and by no means does he have to do that... Ive never dealt with anyone on these forums other than Chinamaniac who ive done well in HU tournaments for and shipped his part after cashing for a couple thousand something like 3-4 times. I'm going to make us money if he does this. And again I have the best references possible on 2plus2...If you want those all he has to do is PM me asking for them and can verify a long history of being backed since 2009. And ive only played backed since playing professionally and currently get almost 95% of the profit...I'm shocked most of you guys didn't know this already! Couldn't be further from the truth someone who gets backing can't beat the games...Tom Dwan is backed did you know that? a lot of big name pros are...For major tournaments almost the entire field is backed.

Can confirm I have done many staking transactions smoothly over the years with Erik and he has always played well when I railed him and always paid his end of the bargain at the end of stakes.

Complete donks have won in fields of over six thousand+ in the WSOP, so making Srsly feel bad for asking for a stake is a bit ridiculous IMO.

i don't think one person in this thread is giving him shit for asking for a stake

it's the fact he was offered to be put in an event and turned that into playing a full schedule


it's like a buddy asking for help with his rent cause he just got laid off and knows you can afford to help him out

and then after agreeing to help him out he hits you up for money to buy an xbox one and a new set of callaway golf clubs


i don't think this was srsly's intention, but it certainly comes off that way and for all cmoney does for this community i'd hate for him to feel like he is being taken advantage of

i agree thomas has done a lot which is why i agreed to help get him in the employee event, and then thomas says something about how it funny it would be if a donk like him could play a $1500 or $2000 mixed game with the pros

then all of a sudden he is planning on playing the employee event plus 4-5 more side events, just comes across as not very grateful

again, i don't think this was his intention as he always comes across as very honest and trustworthy, i just think the thought of playing a bunch of events got his blood pumping and he got a little carried away

Willie, I wasn't singling you out. To be honest I haven't even read the thread, just the last couple pages and what Srsly posted. Youre missing the point. Taking cmoney up on his offer is one thing. Asking for
3-4x what he should be expecting in games that hes admittedly -EV in when cmoney said he wants to stake 6 or 8 other guys as well is just sort of a dick move, regardless of how many funny videos hes made. That said, srsly had shown that hes a pretty nice guy so I tend to believe that he thought he was fine here. Still disagree vegas?

I don't care if people think I'm a wuss, or that I'm naive, or that I can't dress, or that I have an annoying voice, or that I cruise for twinks on Manhunt.com, or most of the other things said about me on these forums. Most of it doesn't bother me very much, I'm not so thin-skinned.

I do care if people think I'm dishonest or greedy or that I need charity. I don't know what cmoney's financial situation is or how much he's looking to buy this year. I thought roughly 10% of what he did last year seemed reasonable. I think it's stupid that I'm still here explaining myself. This will be last time. Thank God nobody ever actually sent me any money.
