One World Trade Center to open Monday

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/d...-trade-center/

The building is 1776 feet tall, which is highest in the Western Hemisphere.

Would you be afraid to work there? Obviously it is a likely target for terrorists, though a 9/11-style attack would never work a second time, and I'm sure it has protections against truck bombs.

It's cute how people think One WTC is the tallest building in the US, even though it isn't.

Wikipedia says it's 1,451 feet whereas One WTC is 1,776.

I read it on the internet, so it must be true.

Right, so if you build a two story building and stick a 2,000 foot flag pole on top of it, it would become the tallest building. The way building height is measured is idiotic.

If we're discounting poles and stuff, and just counting the height of the rooftops, One WTC still edges it out by 14 feet.

Upon completion, One World Trade Center in New York City surpassed Willis Tower through its structural and pinnacle heights, but not by roof, observation deck elevation or highest occupied floor.

I don't know about scared, but I'd prefer to work elsewhere. It's going to be a constant target with increased security, so I'd have to make a lot more or really love my company to deal with all that nonsense and the minimal actual risk. I'd care less now in middle age about the risk. All the great years are already in the bank and after another 5-10 years, it's all house money. I've never really looked forward to being an old person.

Be the safest place on earth.

The Phone guy/Computer guy or whatever that has to go there every once in a while to do service work is going to have a pain in the ass of a time dealing with all the security.

Manziel may only be 6 feet tall, but he has size 15 feet. And he has HUGE hands. I know some NFL scouts so I know what I am talking about.

That's because SS starts measuring from his anus. If you measure from the base, mine is bigger. I can't help it Thomas has a huge butt
