My list has changed a lot since the last thread. Many of the channels were shitty, and I've since unsubbed a lot of them. I've added some quality channels as well. I'm still not totally satisfied with what I've got. Some nights I'll scroll through recent uploads and find nothing I'm interested in.
Some of the channels I unsubbed were interesting from time to time, but blew up my feed with frequent updates that I wasn't that into. KhanAcademy is an example of this. Some channels shifted their content offerings, such as Tested, which used to feature Adam Savage making shit in his workshop, but shifted to boring podcasts with some insufferable asian dork. America's Test Kitchen used to have some cool cooking tutorials, but now they've got some kind of TV deal and content-lock their shit. Sometimes I'd subscribe to a channel after seeing 1 awesome video, then find that subsequent videos weren't as great.
I added a bunch of channels over the last year to learn more about visual effects and filmmaking, and I have learned a ton since then. I still watch a lot of that stuff. The rest are mostly poker people that rarely upload anything (but I keep them on just because) and entertaining science/math/physics shows. I'd like to broaden my horizons a bit.
Anyway, here's my current list. I'd love to trim the fat on this and add some new stuff. What are you guys watching?
