The second I saw it, I told my girl..."this is going to cause a lot of controversy". In case you missed it:
I don't remember seeing this during the game but seeing it now I don't really see anything wrong with it. We really are a melting pot of many different cultures and have been so for a longggg time. What was it that jumped off the page for you Muck?
Coke needs to immediately fire their ad agency and hire the people who created this-
Pyro effects and sweet guitar riffs are never controversial.

This was my favorite Coca-Cola Superbowl commercial, from 2009. It won an Emmy.
It just goes to show that many Americans are fed up with constantly being exposed to multiculturalism and that it's only going to get worse.
When most immigrants come to this country they dont speak English. If they just got here, it should be a seen as a great thing that they want to sing this in their own language. It means they want to be part of this country.
I have a problem with immigrants that come and dont even try to learn English and expect society to conform to them. If you want to be an American, immigrants should make a real effort to learn English. We shouldnt let the government make it easier on them by making forms in a million languages.

Anyone here into Opera?
Ever think of translating that shit to English?
Now lets all go to France and sing their national anthem in English, see how that goes.
I guess that only in America can we be concerned with the marketing efforts of sugar water who's literal name is "Cocaine Cola".
This is one of my biggest issues too. If you move to America you should learn English as a necessity to survive. Now that goes the same if an American moves to Spain or wherever they should learn Spanish in this case.
It's too easy to migrate to America and taking an English course to at least know the basics should be required for a long term stay.
I agree completely. The store that I run now is in the middle of a section of Birmingham that has a large Middle eastern and African population relatively speaking. The biggest thing that makes me hopeful is that there is a community center about a block away that has English classes on Monday, Wed, and Thursday nights and their parking lot is always full of cars.
