Already very impressed with the table names. Suggest you guys do your best to personalize this as much as possible and tie it in to message board stuff.

Don't want to copy boris but they did great thing with tying in signature stuff to league. Maybe even try and do an achievement system similar to steam. Anything to encourage people to keep playing.

Since there's been so much talk about Seals lately, I decided it was time to set up PokerFraudAlert's own online poker room.

Being that I don't exactly look forward to spending time in a jail cell with Howard Lederer, this is a free-money poker room. Simply put, you don't have to spend any money to buy in, there's no annoying bitcoins involved, and there's absolutely no way to lose money.

I will give you chips, and where you go from there is up to you. If you are unfortunate enough to bust your roll, you will have to wait a minimum of 7 days before asking me for chips again.

I will start each member with 2000 chips.

I will also give out free chips to people who participate in this forum -- especially ones who provide good content.

These chips will eventually be good for exchanging for prizes and/or pieces of me in the WSOP.

Since the chips will be used to trade in for promotional items, I will be enforcing the following strict rules:

1) No chip dumping
2) You may not ask me for chips under dupe accounts
3) No collusion or cheating of any kind will be allowed
4) You are not allowed to transfer chips to/from other players

If I see any of the above rules being violated, I will confiscate your chips and kick you off NoFraud Poker. Also, I might ban you if the violation is particularly egregious.

I don't expect to have to do this, though, because this is all for fun, and there's not any kind of big money involved.

This whole thing is experimental. I am aware that the software isn't particularly good, and right now our graphic and color scheme at the tables sucks big time. We'll be improving the graphics at the table shortly.

Also, you will have to sign up for a new account there. It doesn't have to be your PFA name. However, you will have to contact me privately for chips and tell me who you are on there. Everyone will start off with 0 chips when they first register. Once you PM me, I will give you 2000 chips.

Don't worry about the e-mail address. It won't be e-mail validating you. You can put whatever you want there.

If anything crashes or gets messed up technically, just reload the page and it should fix itself.

Finally, I should disclose that the software and server were generously donated by one of our users. He can step forward if he likes, or he can remain anonymous. He will obviously have access to the info you enter, so again, if you want to stay anonymous yourself, just enter a fake e-mail address and don't enter your real name in the "real name" field. This person does not have access to the rest of PokerFraudAlert's system, and cannot see anything within our database.

Thanks for publicizing the new PFA card room.

After Druff mentioned he had considered setting up a room I figured I would go ahead and set it up on his behalf.

I am happy for Druff to use this for whatever purpose he chooses.

A few important things to note:

In the interests of disclosure it is important to note the cardroom site is totally separate to this PFA site and the forums. I have no access to any of that stuff.

Myself and Druff have access to the cardroom admin panel. From the panel we can see passwords and email addresses in clear text. Obviously this is not ideal but it is just the way the software works, so as Druff says use a different password for the cardroom and a fake email address. The email address is not used for any purpose anyway as outbound email is not set up.

The cardroom is provided "as is" it is not (yet) backed up and I can't guarantee any of it will work at any point. Over time if the room sees continued use I may improve this.

The room is very much in beta test; I only set it up yesterday and we're still getting to grips with how it works.

Only I have root access to the server, so if it stops, please PM me and I will try and get it started again.

Now that Belly Buster has "outed" himself as the generous donor of the poker room, I want to personally thank him for his generosity and time/effort in providing this.

Oh, and I just shipped chips to Jensen and CMONEY, so right now everyone who signed up was given 2000 starting chips.

I will keep shipping 2000 to new users throughout the upcoming days.
