Undecided about radio

As most of you know, I was in the emergency room yesterday, when my rib injury from last week flared up to the worst pain yet, and showed a number of symptoms of a ruptured spleen.

It turned out (after a number of expensive tests) that my spleen and everything else internal was fine, but I did indeed have 3 broken ribs.

I asked if I could do radio without aggravating it (mentioning that the show is long) and was told that this would be fine.

However, I am back to where it hurts to breathe, so if I am still in this spot, I can't do radio until it improves somewhat, which can range anywhere between days and weeks.

If too long passes, it is possible I will do a short show instead.

It was from fainting as a result of being sick, not from throwing up.

Hope you feel better. While nothing compared to what you are going through, I have had the super aids flu for the last week. The worst thing about being sick/injured (aside from the pain) is how long it takes to get anything done . Taking the dog out or even going to the bank across the street is a chore. I cant imagine how much more frustrating it is to be handicap when you have kids.

Not worth doing a show if your in pain the entire time. What the people really want to know is what kind of scripts they gave you for the broken ribs?

broken ribs are the worst! it hurts to do everything..breathe ,talk, shit,cough,sleep.constant agonizing pain..the worst part about it is outside of taping them up to restrict moving them and taking hella perc's there aint shit you can do but grin and bare it for 4-6 weeks
