Its OK to say he had some valid points and opinions. Its also OK to say he sucked at the end.

The Patriots would send out Pol Pot to play the rest of the season if they thought he would win the a super bowl. If “Kap” was capable he would have played.

Everything else is just politics
The media didn't really report this because it didn't fit their narrative, but my understanding is that Seattle offered him a backup QB job for backup QB money, and Kap wasn't interested at all playing for backup QB money. The media kept pumping out the narrative he was being blackballed for his activism, when at least initially the truth seemed to be it was as much about his insistence in being payed well above what every team felt his skillset deserved at the point in his career.
