skate boarding is not for every one for sure vegas's pic is proof of that, it takes coordination and balance, some people can step on one first time and ride away others not so much. People who don't have these skills spend there time on the subject trying to make the sport sound like a child's activity, when in actuality it is a high level sport requiring many skills to excel. i am not professing to be great at this sport and mostly have no problem dropping in to most pools and bowls.
many of the local bowls and pipe areas here there are plenty of children and always a few 40plus enthusiasts. the street parks are always filled with children not so many adults, regardless i enjoy a good skate session with my son and daughter i taught and encourage them both to enjoy the sport.
