Last night it was although missing the last two months (its possible no posts were made during that time though). The page was barely navigatable with no profile pics, sigs, or other attachments working.

If he believes the site is responsible for selling $5k-$10k of wsop tourney entries then it will 'persist'.

Lets be serious here, the era was put to rest when Micon unleashed the fail we all know as DD 2.0 last year. None of us could get our accts working and the site went from a limping dog to one that was put out of its misery.

I saw the DD 3.0 when the forum was working (I use that term very loosely btw) and I saw what he was going for. It was like he was trying to be Reddit. What Micon doesnt understand is that Reddit is a fucking ugly mess and it is only successful cuz of its content. If you take a dead forum and convert it into Reddit format, it just becomes a dead forum that is also hard to use and read.

None of tihs shit surprises me cuz if we learned anything over the past year it was that Druff was the one who kept DD halfway readable and Micon was just the sites lovable fuckup who is only fun to watch if kept in check. He never had a clue what the users wanted or liked, just thought of himself as some pied piper that we all wanted to follow. When he kicked Druffs ass out, I really got the vibe he felt finally found that opportunity to really blow up, that he got rid of the one thing holding him back. To this day I think the guy thinks hes a poker celebrity and cant for the life of him figure out why no one posts there anymore.

At the time Druff was run out, I was one of the people on the anti Druff band wagon and dropped a few jabs at him as it was all happening. Then he left and like a week went by and I thought to myself "Shit now this means Micon is the one in charge!" It was right then I knew DD was finished for good.
