Not trying to be a smart ass here, but roaches are definitely not part of most restaurants. At least none that I've ever been a part of, and I've been in the nightclub/restaurant industry for over 20 years. Any restaurant that has roaches is definitely not a place where you want to eat. Only reasons for roaches to be inhabiting a restaurant would be poor sanitation procedures, rotting food, and sewage problems. None of these should be an issue at a good restaurant.
