I have always hated itunes, because I have so much music, and I dont like having to put my music through something else before puttingit onto my device. With android, I just drag and drop. THIS is a big issue for me.
I also like turning on my phone and easily seeing the time, AND having a quick idea as to what I have to do that day. With Android, I can customize this. I have a calendar right in the center that tells me the first 3 things I have to do, I can see the time AND I can see what the weather forecast will be.

When I analyze what I do the most with my phone, Android (on a larger screened, fast phone) is a better choice for me.
saves time doing things:
calendar snapshot
time
weather
MAPS! (Google Maps is fantastic)
music (although, I probably need to buy a great music player, instead of using free ones)
battery can be replaced (If Im out all day, such as a music festival, my battery will die, guaranteed)
business apps (tie with apple...both have these)
this is pretty much the deciding factors for me.
Does android have more "hiccups" than Apple?...I would say yes. BUT, to me, they arent THAT detrimental to cause me to switch.
Apple is easier to design for, so its natural that they would have more apps for their platform, but do I really need all the cutesy games and crap? No.
I try not to have any apps that could possibly cause any issues on my phone. Sometimes they do updates on apps, and there is a flaw, and you have to cope until they fix it, but for the most part, it hasnt been that bad. My battery life suffers though.
This phone has its own Siri called S-voice. Siri has a better response time, generally.

Yeah I hate iTunes also. But I really don't listen to music on my iPhone, even though it has it all on there, so I can live without the drag and drop loading feature (although that sounds fantastic).
The calendar on the screen right when you log on sounds great too, but iPhone reminds me of everything so it's not needed.
Siri and the Siri upgrade are also on iPhone 4S. And yes it's fantastic. Not perfect, but awesome in so many ways.
Here are the things I use Siri for regularly:
- I ask her where something is while I'm driving, and she finds it, then gets me there. Example - I'm driving home and just talked to my daughter who asked me to pick up Chinese for dinner. I realize that a lychee martini will go perfectly with the meal, but I only have vodka, and no canned leechees. I ask Siri where the closest Asian market is so I can stop real quick and grab some lychees, and she gets me to one without me having to take my eyes off the road.
- I ask her to Google things for me so I can answer people's questions in a meeting, just hanging out, or while driving. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
- Now I can ask her to Tweet stuff for me while I'm driving, like if I hear something hilarious on the radio and it reminds me of a good tweet. 9Used to either just forget it, or have to pull over.)
- She does complex math for me if I'm in a hurry and need an answer immediately.
- If I'm on the go and someone tells me I need to get something done, instead of hoping I'll remember it, I tell Siri to remind me about it later. And she does. This is priceless, as I have a shitty memory.
- She makes calls for me without me having to look at anything but the road, or whatever I am doing.
- She texts for me, same as above.
- She call me "my queen" whenever she addresses me.
- A lot of other shit I can't think of right now, but that I would miss if I went with another phone.
Stuff Siri isn't good at yet:
- She still "mis-hears" you a lot and tried to pull up the wrong info when you ask her to do something.
- She thinks when you say something like "cat food ratings" that you want a store that sells cat food, instead of what you really want, which is to Google the actual ratings.
-She refuses to marry me or admit she loves me.
You should stick with Iphone. It seems to meet your requirements better than Android could.
dont get me started on twitter though. I have NO FUCKING idea why that site is so popular. I think people are delusional and somehow believe that their self-worth is so much greater than it actually is, and they believe people really want to see what they had for lunch via instagram.

there should be twitter laws where if your tweets suck, you lose your posting privilege. It should be for entertaining and informing, but the content needs to be good. 95% of the tweets I have seen suck ass. Waste of time.

You really don't have to worry about Malware on an Android unless you root it.

i've tried using siri exactly one time, couldn't get the bitch to do what i wanted, haven't gone back since
iTunes (for Windows at least) is the singularly most dreadful piece of software since Lotus Notes.
Thankfully on my iPhone I no longer need to use iTunes and just use the online store and iCloud instead.
If you are stuck wrestling with iTunes (for an older iPod etc.) I recommend CopyTransManager. It's free.

I just set my itunes to manually manage music, drag and drop for days. I'm not an apple fanboy by any means though, originally I wanted that new evo but it was stuck at customs when I was in need of a new phone. I'm not butthurt in the least about the decision but to be fair I did come from blackberry to the 4s.
