Half Price Dentist

Times are tough obv. but locally we have a dentist who offers half price.....The catch, no freezing. He says there will be little or no pain. He also welcomes any patient willing to come in self anesthetized. In other words bombed via the traditional route. I hate the dentist and feel this may be the best for me. Any thoughts?

This has to be a level, considering alcohol is a blood thinner and the only way a real dentist would ever come into contact with your mouth if you were drunk would be if you bit him.

And for those that asked Dental Care is not covered in Canada unless it's through your job (i looked into moving there) but the prices are pretty comparable to US prices so it's not ouutrageous

Correct eye care and medication also not covered. However if you are on Canadian "welfare" you get everything covered while many who work don't have any coverage...
