I’ve always found your site more useful. I prefer live. I’ve made more online, but just because the games were so easy early. I don’t want training that’s all player 3 is UTG+3 with a VPIP 27 and 14% 3 betting and solver talk. Your style just blends better with how I think.
I’m not a subscriber now as the games locally aren’t worth it, but like I’ll subscribe again when I head to Maryland this summer just to get me thinking about hands.
I was the guy who brought the infamous man v food limit game to druffs attention, so I’ve been familiar long before you started to argue the same political side of the fence.
You’ve always had your haters. It’s always seemed to be online guys, many who were good, but frustrated you had a successful business when they viewed you as a lesser player than someone running some online site. They failed to grasp taking an occasional shower and being able to talk normally appeals to many who didn’t drop out of high school or college in 2004 to grind 24/7. I’m not describing the guys who ran the online sites. Most of those guys were smart and knowledgeable. I’m talking the haters I’ve seen over the past decade like the greasy kid whose name I can’t recall who was an online grinder. They fell mostly into his camp. Guys who were good players, but felt they weren’t acknowledged.
