My dad was stationed in S Korea and said they do that shit all the time, he said he would fly his Huey down the DMZ with his skid purposely in the DMZ daring them to shoot.
Then the N Koreans killed a couple soldiers who were cutting down a tree in the DMZ with machetes and almost started world war 3.
He says those days were a bit tense.
