There's a very old saying in British poker circles that goes like this ... "Get it quietly FFS". If your boasts are true, then you'd be wise the heed this advice.

Hugo Boss used to sell you luggage and throw in a trip to Florida, a bottle of champagne, and food stamps, all
    for 387 bucks.

With his savings he bought five entrees

I would guess that at least half your money is invested in real estate and the other half is in some online brokerage accounts like Robinhood, Etrade, etc.

Not to be a smartass here but does $2M qualify as rich now?

I had it in my mind that $3.5+ was the new “have enough not to work” amount..... but I guess that’s age dependent.

2m is like, middle class retirement money. and there is nothing wrong with that at all.

this is always the thing that unintentionally ruins the joke. whenever bottomset talks about buying something "expensive," it's always the brands that only poor people would think is super high-end.

he does the same thing when he talks about eating out, when all he mentions is chain restaurants.

Hugo Boss and Cole Haan are staples of mine. I spend probably $9,000 a year on their products.
