BOTTOM LINE:
If you want to take advantage of a stupid corporation's grossly erroneous posted price on something, fine.
But if they catch the error and won't let you buy the item at an impossibly cheap price, pat yourself on the back for trying, and politely give up.
Do not bitch at them like an asshole, and definitely do not call the police.
This is NOT the same as failing to honor a posted price. There's a difference between that and what is clearly an erroneous price. This has been adjudicated many times, such as when a high-end TV is accidentally advertised as "$20.00" instead of "$2000", the company is not required to take a huge bath and honor the price if they do their best to correct the error.
