The left wing media is going crazy right now, pressing this story super hard on social media. The narrative is that Trump is tear-gassing children from the migrant caravan at the US/Mexican border. They are even claiming that Trump is using this to test the public's tolerance for fascist tactics, so he can escalate them further if there is general approval.

So what's the real story here? Is the border patrol really tear-gassing little children who are simply getting too close to the fence?

Well, yes, tear gas is being shot over the fence, but there's one little detail being omitted:





Yep... the migrants are throwing rocks over the fence at the US border patrol, who finally responded with tear gas.

Even CNN realized this was a non-story, and quickly buried it. It was nowhere to be found in their 50-or-so articles listed on the front page, by early evening yesterday.

And usually, no matter what president it is, when I read lines like this, there are always some inconvenient details left out from the writer who tries to sensationalize the story. Now I'm not automatically saying this is the case, and frankly I'm out right now so I'm not going to go through looking things up, but I do have my suspicions that there is maybe a little more to that story.
