I have not read much of this, but is Yahoo Finance correct in that 3 years ago this was worth $2,500 a share and now worth a dime a share?

In the meantime, the stock for the parent company fell all the way to 5c/share today, before closing at 7c.
The stock was worth $4250 at its high point on June 8, 2016.
Now the entire company is worth $300,000.
Great job all around.

Something is off. In the peak of the stock price of say $3K or $4K, there were like only a few hundred shares trading hands on a daily basis. It looks like the company had a high stock price but not a lot of value as far as market cap. This reminds me of a start up biotech company with a $10,000 stock price but has very few publicly traded shares. I am sure some insiders got burned but general public was insulated. There was no float.
stock scam, tons of issuing new shares, tons of reverse splits, it never traded at those prices but when u do 1:10 1:20 etc etc the numbers work out to 3-4k, I seen it go for 30-50, but this company has always been a fucking turd. Just be careful not to get short squeezed when it runs up on nothing or bullshit news. Think it had a market cap of 1-2B at least 1-2 years ago.
Its like DRYS, and the myriad of other fucking POS reissuing / shorting squeezing ringing out idiots going long and holding.
Georgiou Economou LOL real POS.
Seasons shorters of POS penny stocks short these turds all day long as long as they get can allocations, but u just gotta worry that it does not move up 50-100%+ on u otherwise u fucked, u gotta size properly to your overall account/take proper risks.

MoviePass became popular by offering "unlimited movies" for less than $10 a month.
Now they want to limit you to 3 movies a month.
Time to cancel membership.
Bye Bye MoviePass.
RIP.
The irony of course being that you are going back to paying $30-$40 for three movies a month.
The business model didn't work, and you are butt hurt about it.
It's still a good deal if you use it.
The movie theaters are going to fuck them out of existence but don't blame them for trying to create a more sustainable model.
Here's how this is going to go if anyone is wondering.
AMC, Cinemark, Century they are all going to do the same thing.
Movies now cost $25 a showing, but if you purchase our movie club membership bullshit thing for $10 a month. You can see movies for $7 a movie.
(Insert whatever numbers you want but that's what is coming to prevent companies like MoviePass and Sinema from disrupting the market)
BUMP
They are playing numbers games with their stock price, attempting to consolidate shares to artificially make it look like the stock is trading higher than it is (and to remain on NASDAQ).

They also did this in July, but it backfired.
MoviePass tried to boost its stock from 8 cents to $21 with a similar move in July. But the new price plunged back below $1 within days.
Donkdown (probably)

Prior to this, they cut down to 3 movies per month, rather than one per day.
Michael Swaim had his movie script he wrote blatently stolen by Emmett/Furla Oasis Films
Why is this in this thread you ask? Because the film company was recently bought by Moviepass before this happened.
Emmett/Furla apparently has a reputation (google it) of being sued for shady shit.
TL,DR - Swaim makes a movie script (Force Of Nature) that Emmett/Furla literally and specifically asked for.
- He submits it to them
- a month later they begin to make their own "Force of Nature" movie while changing a few very minor things from his script and essentially leaving him to hang
out to dry.
- he starts tweeting about the theft and they threaten legal action against him.
- he doesn't have the financial backing to defend this whole shitshow and he even has to delete some tweets.
- he is sol and apparently back to square one
this is only a mirror youtube video. im sure he may have his own channel with more info but im too lazy to find it at this moment

I've occasionally had a very short and spotty memory the past 2 or 3 years and I think its getting worse over time. Its actually really starting to scare me (and others around me) at times. Hopefully i can find a doctor that can help pinpoint the problem.
On that note, until just now, I somehow briefly forgot about that whole 50 Cent and Emmett debacle as well as a few other things.
Wow, this Emmett guy is a real piece of shit
donkdown after the 14th.

At least they gave everybody fair notice
Was GOD in its heyday; even had me doing jewy druff things where I would buy a ticket everyday regardless of going or not in order to rack up points for free snacks when I did go. Even the local art house theaters would take it.

Honestly there's still a market for this if done correctly, especially with the decline of people's willingness to spend $12+ in theaters.
