I don't know if you have to understand omaha hi lo to appreciate all this but fuck me I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the most laughing I've ever done reading the internet in my entire life.
If you don't play the game, any old guy that loses with aa52 instantly turns into Phil Hellmuth regardless of the scenario and 8989 basically never wins if that helps you appreciate that part of the story more. Add to that old people really really hating anyone that declines their chop deal and OSA and this guy becoming friends during the tournament and well... I have no more words for it. Thank you. I am finally home. What a night. In fact the last 2 nights have surpassed any of the prior Nwp/dd/ forum whatever meet ups.
I am dead exhausted on barely any sleep the last two nights but will post my thoughts, stories and other tidbits once I am recovered.
I will say, honest to god, one step battled like an absolute beast. Played poker in a way I didn't think he was capable of and as I told him, I truly feel like I won tonight.

Nah, I didnt stake him in this one. I am happy for him. Had he asked me for 100 stake i wouldn't have done it anyway as would have had t do paperwork etc which be too much of a time suck for 100 dollar stakeSweet!
