I would be inclined to agree with most of this except when you add alcohol and rowdy or intimate atmosphere, inhibitions are loosened and mistakes are made on all sides resulting in... hangover and regret for stupid shit you did that may not necessarily a true representative of all parties character.

You're taking my words out of context. I never once defended men who grope women. I repeatedly stated that it's not okay, and in fact that I was always extra cautious in my own life never to grope a woman unless I was almost 100% sure that she really wanted me to. I also stated that it would be great if all guys showed this amount of caution, but many don't, due to either ignorance, delusion, or selfishness.

However, I also stated that women bear some responsibility for their own safety, and should be careful not to project mixed signals to men. The woman who flirts heavily with a guy all night, makes sexually-suggestive comments to him, sits on his lap, and shoves her tits in his face repeatedly can't act shocked when some guys take it as permission to grab their ass or motorboat them. I'm not saying that these guys SHOULD do that, but I'm saying that it will happen, and that often it's a case of them incorrectly believing the woman is okay with it.

I feel much more sympathy for the woman who just gets groped for no reason when walking by a perv than I do for the heavy flirter who then screams, "OMG why me?? Why are men so awful??" after she's cockteasing them all night.

Similarly, I should have the right to walk around in Compton at 1:00am with thousands of dollars of cash hanging out of my pockets without getting mugged, but it's also something not smart to do, and some of the blame for such a mugging would fall on my shoulders for being so careless/stupid with my own safety.
