My family just uses a tissue. It's a pain, but it happens with so many breeds.
I've heard that in some cases, the tears could be from either an allergic reaction or a change in diet (but not sure if that's just a myth because I'm pretty sure it's just a genetic predisposition to it).
The vet said there is some tear whitener you can use which just basically covers it up, but wiping it off consistently (even though it's a pain) is probably your best bet.

and yes, their eyes water a lot
i think it's an evolutionary defense against their facial hair making them blind when it gets all poofy
