This story has been gaining some steam in the past week.
A psychology professor at the University of Toronto posted an hour-long lecture on YouTube as part of a 3-part series criticizing political correctness at his university. In the lecture he criticizes a new Federal bill that would outlaw harassment and discrimination based on gender identity and gender expression. He states that if a student were to request that he refer to them using a non-binary pronoun such as "they/them" or "ze/zir" (seriously?), he would refuse.

Here's the full video. It's long but actually quite good:
Unsurprisingly, the social justice warriors picked up their pitchforks and the outrage began.
Check out this facebook page for the protest they have planned:

Another U of T prof, A.W. Peet, who identifies as non-binary, took great exception to Peterson's stance. This is a photo of "them":
A Emeritus Professor of philosophy at U of T, Ronnie de Sousa, provided this response to Peterson's video:
I don't know where to start with this fucking guy. I couldn't get through two minutes of it because he has the most annoying accent/cadence to go along with his extremely punchable face. As a commenter noted, he's positioned the camera so that he's literally looking down his nose at the viewer.
Dr. Peterson posted parts two and three of his series but I haven't gotten a chance to watch them yet.
The shitstorm has just begun for Peterson. Guy's got balls to take such a position. Should be interesting to see how it unfolds.
