You realize that there's a psycho who has been harassing me for years and SEOing my name with really nasty, untrue accusations simply because I let people post a funny GIF of him, right?
So tell me, what am I supposed to be getting out of running this forum? If it's not making money, if I'm being trolled frequently, if I get just about zero gratitude or appreciation for running it, and if people are constantly bitching about the way it's being run, tell me the upside. Tell me why this is worth a lot of my time every week.
I've spent too much time on this.
I'm not debating or justifying it any further.
BOTTOM LINE:
This is a free site which loses money and provides me no gain of any sort. It requires time and effort to run. I am going to run it with the vision I had for it in the first place, and that isn't changing. This is and always will be a very lightly moderated forum with zero mods besides me. I am willing to consider any suggestions or constructive criticism, but the decisions will all be mine, and nobody will be able to pressure me to do it their way. If at any point I get to feel like this is no longer fun for me, I will take it down with zero regrets. If you don't like the way I am running it, there are many millions of other websites you can visit.
