Just heard on CNN that gun shop where the shooter tried to buy a shitload of ammo (but was turned away) contacted the authorities about him, including that he was heard talking to someone in Arabic on his cell phone while in the store.

And had a history of being a malcontent with "problematic behavior".

Bottom line: The authorities (FBI?) fucking dropped the ball on the dangerous nutjob. Yugely.
