Bottomset is spot on, there is an unbelievable oil boom in North Dakota right now. Since 2007 when the market peaked, home prices have increased significantly there while falling nationwide by over 30%.
The boom is expected to continue for at least the next 20 years, there is good money to be made there if you're willing to work.

Mike have you tried UPS? you can get in part time making shit pay but full benefits. when you pass your seniority you can start working two shifts with overtime at after 6 hours. You could get in working unloading trucks and once your in UPS has a huge hire from within mentality you might be able to get into the IT dept or something else

LOL I know so many people who did this. UPS is a very cutty job that you can make good money at in other way than driving. I went unloader to sort to irregs to supe to driver. as a part time supe I was making $2600 a month working 25 hours a week.
