Watch 'The BabaDook' with her, I believe it's on American Netflix as well as Canadian. Scary movie and really well done.

I have never understood the scary movie theme. As a kid, sure, but then it was something to turn away from not knowing.
Now I can't watch a horror movie for the ultimate bull shit I'm expected to accept
