But data released online in the wake of the hack on Ashley Madison’s servers certainly seems to show otherwise. Someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary—a home that was consistently shown on their now-cancelled TV show, and in which Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child—paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015.

In July 2014*, he seems to have started a second account that was linked to his home in Oxon Hill, Maryland, where he spent his time lobbying against causes like same-sex marriage. The birthday listed in the data for Duggar’s first account is February 3, 1988, one month off Duggar’s actual birthday of March 3, 1988. The birthday listed for the second account is March 2, 1988.

The two accounts overlap by a period of a few months. When he launched the second account, Duggar paid an initial fee of $250 that appears to have gone toward the purchase of an “affair guarantee”

Druff are you part of this or something? I'd rather think that than you would make such a horrible read.

Angry Stephanie from radio? Worried someone would want to listen to her on the phone?

Hundreds of email addresses in Ashley Madison data dump are in big banks’ domains
    Published: Aug 19, 2015 8:34 p.m. ET

A caveat: AshleyMadison.com doesn’t verify users’ email addresses

    CONSUMER FRAUD REPORTER

Hundreds of bankers may have used their work email addresses to register for the adultery website AshleyMadison.com, MarketWatch found after searching data provided by security researcher Robert Graham.

Hackers on Tuesday unleashed the purported email and street addresses, phone numbers and credit-card details of about 36 million people represented as users of the adultery website AshleyMadison.com. MarketWatch searched through the email addresses, as provided by Graham, who owns Atlanta-based Errata Security, and found at least 665 emails associated with big banks.

The Hill reported that the leak appears to include more than 15,000 government and military emails.

AshleyMadison.com said in a statement on its website that it is “actively monitoring and investigating this situation to determine the validity of any information posted online and will continue to devote significant resources to this effort.” Several reporters and security researchers have said the data dump appears legitimate, but, to be sure, that doesn’t mean the emails are. AshleyMadison.com doesn’t verify users’ email addresses after they sign up, which means people can make up fake emails or use the addresses of others when creating accounts.

Regardless, if there’s one lesson here, it’s that you probably shouldn’t use your real email address — especially your work account — in situations where you wouldn’t want your identity revealed.

Read: 7 things we’ve learned from the Ashley Madison leak

Here are the financial institutions we searched, and how many associated email addresses we found — bearing in mind that we cannot verify the accuracy of the data:

    Wells Fargo — @wellsfargo.com: 175
    Bank of America — @bankofamerica.com: 76
    Deutsche Bank — @db.com: 73
    Citigroup — @citi.com: 51
    Goldman Sachs — @gs.com: 45
    PNC Bank — @pnc.com: 28
    U.S. Bancorp — @usbank.com: 15
Bank of New York Mellon — @bnymellon.com: 14
    J.P. Morgan Chase — @jpmchase.com: 9
    Capital One — @capitalone.com: 4

“While we cannot speak to the veracity of the data, as a matter of company policy we require that team members use personal email addresses to conduct personal business,” Wells Fargo spokesman Ancel Martinez told MarketWatch.

Tiffany Galvin, a spokeswoman for Goldman Sachs, declined to comment. J.P. Morgan spokeswoman Jennifer Kim said the bank also declined to comment, as did spokesman Dana Ripley on behalf of U.S. Bancorp and spokeswoman Renee Calabro speaking for Deutsche Bank. A Citigroup representative reached late Wednesday also declined to comment. Efforts to reach the other institutions for comment had thus far been unsuccessful.

In the interest of fairness, we also searched for email addresses in the MarketWatch.com domain, yielding no results, though 10 emails from the domain of MarketWatch parent Dow Jones did appear among Graham’s data. A Dow Jones spokesperson declined to comment.

I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.

I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust.

The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings.

As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.

    Josh Duggar

Two sites went up where you could "search" the AshleyMadison data, but one went down from too much traffic, and the other took down the search because of threats from AshelyMadison's parent company:

I created this site as I believed that users should have the right to know if their email and data was compromised. Unfortunately I received a takedown notice from Avid Dating Life Media, Inc. so I'm forced to shut down this site; sorry for the inconvenience.

See About for contact info, I will not answer requests about the data or checking emails.
I'm surprised a foreigner who doesn't give a shit about takedown notices hasn't put something up like this.

Even CNN is now promoting that you can search AshleyMadison data, though they instruct you to "do a web search to find the sites". However, right now I can't find a working one.

Those 'check your data' sites are usually farming emails for spam/PII btw.

I'm at the point where if I see anyone talking/lobbying/preaching about family values and morality I just assume they're involved in animal porn with children.

That he works for the Family Research Council is just perfect. Fighting and lobbying against gays, poker players, the immoral, etc. while compiling a resume that involves fucking your sisters and getting outed for multiple affairs by 27 is both infuriating and impressive.

These FRC fuckers were instrumental in lobbying for UIGEA. That we lost poker, in part, to the efforts of these religious zealots makes me want to bring back those wooden public stocks. Getting put in those while getting pelted by tomatoes by gay guys and poker players and anyone who likes to have fun feels right and appropriate for that kid.

badguy isn't married, so even if he's on the list, it won't matter.

If a list of Pennsylvania deadbead dads hits the web, then he'll have to start worrying.

The most "religious" people I have known in my life have turned out to have skeletons come blasting out of the closets later on, where the skeletons wanted to stick their dicks in other married women.

One guy, at a party, invited another woman back to his house to hang out......30 minutes after his wife left the party to go home and go to bed.

One website requests your "verified e-mail" to "notify you if you're on the list or any other hacked data", which seemed exactly like farming, so I didn't even bother to post or mention it, even though it's still up.

I think the other two sites which went down were just search forms that didn't require an e-mail.

How would that have worked, if his wife was already at the home?

I also can't read "One guy, at a party" without thinking of Howard Lederer.

I think it's the "loud" religious people who usually have the skeletons, as they are often using the religion to either compensate for their own guilt or just because they enjoy attention. So the guys running around screaming about homosexuality being an abomination are the ones much more likely to be closet gays than the quiet religious people who rarely talk about their faith to people outside of it.

There are certain religious people I know who I would be absolutely SHOCKED to hear if it turned out they were living out a secret life behind the scenes. But none of these people are famous, nor do they shove their religion down others' throats. So a guy like Josh Duggar, I'm not at all surprised that he was using AshleyMadison, even without the other revelation about what he did as a teenager.

Also it's important to remember that there are just as many liberal hypocrites as conservative hyporcrites.

Think of Prahlad Friedman always ranting about the evil of corporations, and then becoming one of the main faces promoting a known scam poker site.

Or the liberal screaming about the "racism" of people who oppose busing in kids from bad neighborhoods to schools in good neighborhoods -- and then quietly enrolling their own kids in lily-white private schools.

Or Barbara Streisand lecturing Californians that they have to all do their part and cut down on electricity use, only to leave all of the lights on in her mansion when she goes on a lengthy vacation.

How about Elliot Spitzer taking such a hard-line stance against crime in New York while he repeatedly visited prostitutes?

The list is endless, just like you could make a very long list of conservative hypocrites.

    Hypocrites of all types suck.

Yeah its not that they require you to sign up to provide a verified email, its just every email address people search for anonymously gets qualified as 'probably valid' and as such demands a premium price on the underground spam email list market.

Thats why there is such a booming market for emails pilfered from sites/forums; they are considered "manned" addresses and end up on the premium spam lists. The opposite end of the spectrum would be randomly generated addresses at scraped domains, for example.

Example; a site went online recently where you enter a cell phone number and it reports what info is publicly associated with it on the web. I had a burner handy so I popped in the # and it chugged away for a few moments then congratulated me on how well I kept my # off the internet, and maybe 1 or 2 days later it mysteriously started receiving spam TXT msgs and automated phone calls.
