The main difference between this and other tall tale threads is he provides proof -- pictures, video, and in some case news reports and /or police actions. I would read it before the picture links and video get nuked or are censored by 2+2.
If you read through to the Strip Poker Steve story I think you will be hooked.
I've been reading it the past couple of days and was going to post about it. No hyperbole: it is the greatest thread in poker forum history.
Bukowski observation about the credibility of stories is a good one. Obviously, the pics & vids with other posters recognizing girls from nearby high schools is gold. The level of detail about Foxwoods, it's policies, reward card, and local geography are solid.
I have met a few of these guys in my time. The unfettered "live for today" approach to life I always found fascinating and appealing. It is the polar opposite of my risk averse approach which makes Johnny a dull boy sometimes. Consequences for actions, long term planning or any simple goals are completely foriegn to them. They are often pretty damn charming - big charisma.
Shrink, you failed to call out the most important aspect of this epic thread. This high school drop out can actually write. Even if it were fiction, it's still a fun read. If you were his editor or worked up a treatment for him I'd pay money just to watch the pitch meeting with HBO television.
This guy has great recollection. I can't remember my 20's.
I am still working on reading this thread. This Cheating story was crazy. Like a bad Three's Company episode with the sex included. Guy has balls of steel in degen way. He scores an new room by complaining the one he has is dirty. Then he knows he has to run back upstairs to his original room in under 15 Mins before keys on that one stop working so he can keep both rooms open and working.

I actually just recently became aware of this site from a link to the radio show here about a couple months ago. I do know who Druff is from following poker over the years. Well by the time I left her in the room it was already getting late. She was going to be getting to sleep soon. Also with my long history of gambling, she knows I could be playing for hours. So she was angry about me taking so long because she wanted me to go to bed with her. She didn't really have any option to go anywhere either. The casino is an hour away from home and she doesn't like wandering the gaming floor herself. So she just had to lay in bed watching TV, hoping I would be done gambling soon. When I first returned to the room, she gave me shit because I guess it was suppose to be a special night for us. A little get away at the casino you know. So leaving her in the room to fall asleep by herself, she didn't like. I was shocked she fell for the whole sleeping in the lobby story when I didn't return the 2nd time until the morning. Normally people have a sense of shame that prevents them from doing things like you do and then talking about them with anyone, although I guess it is much easier to do so on the Internet. Still, at that point people would call bullshit and OP would be proven to be a faggot and everything would die down.

**Disclaimer** I was drunk last night during interview
I just listened to the playback of the interview now that I have sobered up a bit. I had about 5 doubles of Hennessy Privilege straight while in the lounge at Mohegan last night, while I was waiting for phone call. So I was at least 10 shots in, so please don't mind how retarded I sounded. I was actually sitting there talking with Paul Darden and trying to talk him into getting on the phone call. He was up for it but could only wait so long. I got the call a few minutes after he left to go home. He said he was heading out to Vegas for the main and gave me his cell #. Anyway most of the stuff we talked about in the interview was repetitive if you have already read my thread in full. Overall the interview didn't meet expectations. I probably shouldn't have drank and would have went different if Druff read my thread in full prior. He obviously is very busy and I didn't expect him to have gone through everything.
At the end Druff had asked me some questions from the live chat. People were either taking shots or making jokes. I'm here on a broken pedestal for anyone to call me out. Feel free. I will try to respond.
Just read the majority of the 4 thread and apparently he got arrested, would be hilarious to do PFA's first radio call from jail. Godspeed Warmdeck, you brought entertainment to the masses. Maybe write your memoirs while in jail and put it online for 10-20$ a pop. I'm sure you'd get at least a hundred purchases from your 2+2 notoriety alone.
