Used to drive thru McDonalds and order a single small fries. No tip.
Folded the brown paper bag containing the fries and place it between the two child car seats in the back.

Its a pretty old show at this point. There is 0.0 chance a show like this could be made today. Constant use of "nigga" as well as depicting black folk in Baltimore in a negative or stereotypical way. Of course, the police brutality and deceit would play well now. I put it in the top 10 but really its top 2 or 3. Breaking Bad might've been better. Omar is dead now too.

The technology depicted in the series was pretty advanced for the time it was made but rewatching it its funny to see how they used pagers, pay phones and pigeons.
I was utterly astounded by the dialogue coming from these characters from the hood and ordinarily dumb cops. I’d never heard anything like it before. I was gobsmacked.
Elmore Leonard’s Justified came close. Same sort of crazy sharp dialogue coming from cops and criminals.
I have tried but I expected to be revisit that feeling somehow. There is only one “first time”.
Allow me my memories
Allowed. For me its nostalgia at this point. That show was on a very long time ago. A few years ago some obscure channel had on episodes of Hill Street Blues. It was on in the early 80's and I watched it when I was a little kid. Watching it 40 years later was a bit of a trip.
Fantastic show, definitely rewatchable, probably the GOAT
The one blip though was that McNulty faking deaths shit, ruined season 5 imho
What did Lt. Daniels die of?
First saw it at 13 at midnight in 2003 (Was never prime time) on one of the networks in NZ
Immediately hooked, kudos David Simon. The most realistic characters in TV history probably. Agree though, can't go back and enjoy it again, like most things.
Turned a lot of people onto it over here (Older friends/family) Slept on massively during it's run
I got your back on this one nigga
