Nah Trump's the only candidate I can stand to listen to for over 10 seconds. I enjoy trump's speech's but I know it's fantasy. Let's be honest, Trump's WAY out of touch and a bit loony. I think Trump's best choice for VP would be Carly Fiorina for many political reasons.

There's also a tiny part of me that thinks Trump could get elected and be amazing. He'd have to ignore the radical right for sure. I actually think Trump may lean a bit more left than he lets on. Trump is just a showman with no real plan.
He is doing well right now because many people are sick of politicians and their usual BS rhetoric, and appreciate someone who appears to cut through the BS and tell it like it is.
The problem is that Trump really has no solution to the problems he talks about, and in many cases he talks about things in overly simplistic terms, which sound good on the surface but would be very complex and problematic to actually reform.
I believe that his initial decision to run for President was just a gimmick to get attention (and stay relevant in the public eye), and then he accidentally stumbled into high poll numbers and thought, "Wow, how great would it be if I actually got elected?"
That's why he was super-outrageous at the beginning, but has since toned it down some.
My fear with Trump is that he will have absolutely no clue how to be President, which is a completely different challenge than running for-profit corporations. I feel he will end up being an embarrassment to America, and screw up a lot more things than he fixes.
Now, if we had a straight-talking politician who actually possessed the skills to be President, AND had a good plan for America, then I wouldn't mind some bluster or controversy in his public statements. In fact, they would be refreshing.
But simply grabbing attention and saying what certain people want to hear doesn't make someone a good Presidential candidate.
Trump is also winning at the moment because the Repubican side has failed to put up an exciting candidate against him. I complained about this long before Trump entered the picture. While other Republican friends were fawning over Rubio, Cruz, and/or Walker, I smelled danger for the party.

We've seen these outside candidates from time to time, they always fizzle. Herman Cain actually had a bigger lead in 2011 around this point then he imploded. Newt Gingrich was the next outsider (out of office for 15 years) and he fizzled. Pat Buchanan, Ross Perot, etc... they always tank.
It's going to be Jeb when all said and done, unless Trump does invest a billion dollars in the campaign. I doubt he will.
The problem I have with Trump as time goes on, is he says the same shit over and over. He is terribly unprepared in the debates. I think the next debate will be make or break for Trump. He likely will be around 25% in the polls, and he is either going to 30+ or single digits. If he comes out again rambling all over the place he will be toast. People forget Trump is 70 years old next year. If you listen to clips of him from even 5 years ago, he sounds much different than today. He may actually start having signs of early dementia.
