Other cars didn't see or didn't want to slow down as early, so they were zooming by. I got over to the right lane so I wouldn't get in their way and cause an accident.
I was seriously in the right lane for safety reasons. The cops didn't see me move over because I was way too far back. They were clearly just looking for the first person going by in the right lane who didn't slow way down below the speed limit.
Druff, if you don’t do something about this lawyer-wise, i.e. challenge this ticket in court with the argument that you were not appropriately informed by the state government about to this law to be issued this ticket, then quit your bitchin. Because if you really cared about
doing something about the supposed injustice of the enforcement of insufficiently-notified laws resulting in the economic abuse of the populace, here’s your chance.
And like I said earlier, I’d donate $10 to your legal expenses on the matter just for shits and giggles. Hell! Make it $20! And get a GoFundMe page up for it. ‘Cause there are probably 10 or 20 others in the US who don’t know of this law who would welcome someone taking a principled stand on the matter.
