I wasn't really aiming those comments at you. More for one of our two resident conspiracy theorists than anyone else. I just hate it when people think EVERYTHING is a conspiracy, and frankly find it to be offensive. Like for example the dumb asses saying Sandy Hook didn't really happen, and questioning and calling out people who had lost their children.... Calling them liars, actors, etc.. It's disgusting, and because of the internet most of these wackos have an outlet that wasn't available some years back to spew their retarded, disgusting conspiracy theories, and they use it to a point where it's appalling.
As far as thinking only governments should be able to own guns, I don't agree with that. I believe in the right to bear arms. Problem is though we have a major mental health crisis on our hands in this country, and an over abundance of guns and ammo. One thing is certain... We will NEVER be a gun-less society. Complete anarchy would take place before that would ever become a reality. Yeah, guns and ammo will be increasingly more expensive and harder to obtain, but guns will always be a part of our society and culture.
This shit is going to take decades if not a century to get sorted out, and honestly I think we are way past the point of fixing it. Something needs to be done, but I very much doubt it will as there is no possible scenario I can think of that can fix it other than a very hardcore version of a police state.
Seriously, IMO the only realistic approach to any sort of solution would be something like yearly mandatory psychiatric exams for EVERYONE in this country, but that will never happen, at least not in our lifetime, and it shouldn't. Doubtful that would even work, but what else can be done?
The truth is that while we see this type of shit happening regularly, and as horrible as it is, there's a very minimal chance it happens to most Americans compared to the majority of other things that kill people. So, we will most likely continue to fall back on the fact that you are more likely to be struck by lightning in your lifetime (1/12,000) than you are to be killed by a firearm in this country (1/25,000), and we will continue along this path of watching these types of situations unfold... Until it becomes unbearable and those numbers dip under 1/10,000. Then shit will really change... Maybe.
Believing that children were murdered at Sandy Hook is naive. Take a close look at all the evidence with a critical and unbias perspective.
You come across as very bitter when it comes to these topics Vegas. Perhaps you've reached your threshold of mental faculty, but have grown agitated because you know deep down that something isn't right.
TBH, I think you're having a complete meltdown.
wait the odds of being struck by lightening are (1/12,000)??
can a nigga get a citation for this?
:lol2
You think sandy hook was a giant hoax?
I turned on CNN earlier to see if they had any coverage on the shooting. They didn't....looks like after 10 years the media is still trying to convince us Hurricane Katrina was real. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
If you're going to do something this insane, I never get the gun angle anyway. Why not just run them down with your car in the parking lot? He wasted months putting down deposits and buying a gun. Could have bought a male whore. Plus a dashboard cam would provide better video if you're a psycho. Really, logically, the gun is more about the ease of taking your own life at the end rather than the means to do the deed. If you run them down and drive over a cliff, you may survive.
I'm going to put the PFA promise out there that if I ever go off the rails and decide any of you pricks need to die, I'm going to buy a monster truck or attach a pipe bomb to a drone and do it up with a little style. Random gun violence sprees are so blase at this point. They lack creativity.
Do I need to tell you why?
But anyway
Let me ask you this. If your child was gunned down would you be giving interviews within hours? Would you then go on a whirlwind media tour denouncing the rights to bear arms?
Or would you actually go crazy grieving your child and want to be around no one but maybe your closest of family?
Why is it that every parent of the victims always agrees to do this mass amount of media? Almost instantly?
Agree that seems weird, but most likely because they are in shock and angry and are not truly greiving yet. Pretty common actually, most people don't start to truly grieve until after the funeral and after friends and family have left town.
People that believe this or Sandy Hook was a hoax, honestly I'm not sure how you can even function day to day in life.
they dont they fail at selling sunblock and live at their parents house
Where did this list come from? I'm not sure I believe it.
Hard to believe only about 14% of the population dies from cancer and heart attacks COMBINED.
The gun violence statistic is also a bit misleading. In 2013, there were about 11,000 murders in the US, which was about a 1 in 28,500 chance for each citizen on average (close to your 1/25,000 figure).
However, the average citizen has a MUCH lesser chance than that of dying from gun violence.
This is because the vast majority of murders in the US occur as a result of criminal-on-criminal situations or violence between spouses/lovers/ex-lovers. Also, a large percentage of murders take place in impoverished/dangerous neighborhoods.
So if you don't get yourself involved with dangerous criminals, don't date someone with a high potential for violence, and stay out of the ghetto, your chances of being murdered are quite small.
It's a behavior-related statistic. It's similar to your risk of contracting AIDS. If you are a heterosexual man in the US who doesn't do intravenous drugs, your chances of contracting it are very low. This was even true in the '80s and '90s, when AIDS rates in the US were much higher.
An article about the shooter's job performance:

You were claiming that he dropped the camera, but looking at the crime scene pics now it seems clear that he went to ground holding the camera.
I suppose you're gonna tell me that people don't bleed when they're shot to death too? Coz I aint seeing any blood here.
