They were down 49-40 at the half. I bet on the wrong half this time.
This is unusual, as dogs in NCAAB tend to collapse after getting beat hard in 1H. The books have caught up with this, which is why the game line is a lot longer than the half moneyline.
Feels shitty to lose a pick where I correctly pick the dog to do unexpectedly well, but they get it going in the second half. Note that my last pick like this, a +185 1H pick, won the first half but narrowly lost the game, so I was correct there.
Sweet fucking jesus. What a garbage field this is. Ive already pre bought champions club tickets for this event and I feel completely ripped off. Both Im and Lowry will be sub 10-1. Dont get me wrong Im a big fan of both and followers here know Im super high on S Im chances at Augusta. That being said in no fucking uncertain terms should they be bar none 1-2 on the card.
PGA going to have some real attendance issues where they sell out for the 18 “enhanced” events and all the others are relegated to Minor league status.

Interesting game with Georgetown today. Had I been awake when the game started, I would have picked them in some way. Not sure if I would have gone with just 1H or the full game.
Had I gone 1H, I would have been very disappointed, as they lost that half by 5, but ended up winning the game by 6. But I also might have just gone with the full game, because they weren't huge dogs, despite their 7-21 record and being on the road.
Second game I've seen recently which defies the modern convention of the dog team not being able to come back if they're losing at the half. They were only down 5 at the half though, so this wasn't all that unusual. It's more unusual for a dog team getting killed at halftime being able to recover in 2H and cover the spread, unless the game spread is very long.

The narrative this week is “finally an event where anyone can win”. I see it entirely different, and an playing it so.
Jon Rham is less of a favorite over the rest of these top 30 heavy enhanced fields than Im is over this particular field.
I think there is a very very clear three tier hierarchy this week.
At the bottom is tier 3 - which is “everyone else”.
Tier two is Shane Lowry +1600 and Denny McCarthy +2500.
I guess we can put Shane a touch higher in the listing. His form has fallen off a touch since last year but he is still a top 30 guy. He also will want to avenge last years loss at the hands of mother nature. McCarthy is a local guy down the street who has good form and might be the best putter in this weak field. Either one wouldnt be a shock to win.
Tier one
I mean ive been telling everyone who will listen that its Im’s time to don the green jacket and at 40-1 odds is a bargain to do so. In these top 30 fields he has “been there” the entire time. Stacked fields Last 10 played - 7th at shriners, 8th at Hero, 13th at the TOC, 18th amex, 4th Farmers, 6th Phoenix…… stacked stacked fields.
In fact if you “took out” everyone not playing this week this is where Im would have finished

Ancer now the small favorite on exchange. Im invested here.
Also im not suggesting LIV is fixed. But i don't exactly see them, and as a result the bought and paid players, not holding back on having one particular optimal result vs a non optimal one. Ancer winning in Mexico just makes all the sense in the world.

Really hard to play the “should be” game with golf. That said that 3.5 ft put on 9 is the shortest put hes missed in forever. He chipped out 2 from the sand that both missed the hole by the width of a golf ball. He also missed three different puts by a golf ball.
