Good video, Kevin, where you called the PI.
You asked the question I would have asked (at around the 10 minute mark): If you're doing a background investigation for Christopher Mitchell who supposedly needs it for a police report, why are you providing AHoosierA's SSN to Chirstopher? Why is that something Christopher would ever need, other than to harass or doxx AHoosierA?
I partially believe the PI. I think Christopher did lie to him, did claim he was at the police station trying to file a report against a "stalker", and needed info. The PI probably thought he was giving the info to a poor stalking victim and provided the SSN directly to Christopher, believing it would help the police better identify this stalker.
But that's a huge mistake on the PI's part! Clearly they made no attempt to verify Christopher's story, and instead provided sensitive identity info to another private citizen -- one who then went forward to use it to doxx AHoosierA on YouTube!
That's why the PI seems so nervous on the phone, and is attempting to resolve this. The PI is also legit angry at Christopher for lying to him and getting him in potential hot water!
AHoosierA may very well have a legal case against both parties!

More and more I'm starting to think that Christopher Mitchell actually believes most of the stuff that comes out of his mouth and that he's simply a very stupid person. In the video he deleted, he's SOOOOOOO certain he's cracked the case. He states clearly several times that [AHoosierA's real name] is the real identity of Kevin Davis. He's absolutely giddy that he's lifted the veil on Kevin Davis. And he's 100% incorrect. Yet, I'll bet he continues to believe they're the same person. He is so fucking dumb. It's astounding.
Also, that PI knows he fucked up. You can hear it in the phone call with Kevin Davis.

There has to be proof of stalking on EITHER person. Stalking works both ways where CM could try to get peoples info to stalk them. Just got done talking with the LV police. They basically said i can't find out if a report was filed against me unless a detective contacts me.
I tried to file a report of CM and they directed me to the FBI because it's an internet complaint
This basically tells me CM didn't file anything with them as i assume they would have turned him to the FBI as well
LV Metro wouldn’t even come to me when I had my car burglarized inside the Sam’s Town Garage. They said there was no “danger” there so I would have to go to a station and file a report. I would say I believe that a crime has been committed violating the laws of Nevada. Therefore I should have the right to file a report as documentation regardless of anyone's speculation there is no legal expert at the station.Quote:

You don't need Cops if they don't want to help. Go to courthouse and file your own warrant. You'll go before a magistrate and he will see what you have to say. He will determine if its enough to go get him and for the state to look at case.Quote:

Also, while on the surface it may seem Christopher is uncollectable regarding a civil judgment -- and indeed he might be tough to collect from -- he has a huge vulnerability here which most people don't have.
Christopher's entire image is based upon being a successful millionaire pro gambler who routinely smashes the casinos with his brilliant (lol) systems.
If someone is uncollectable, you can compel them to return to court to discuss their assets. For most self-employed or unemployed people, they can simply lie in court and get away with it if they're careful. For example, the judge will have no way to tell if you have $100,000 hidden under your mattress, or if a friend is holding it for you.
However, Christopher makes videos every day flashing large amounts of cash, and routinely brags about how rich he is. If he were to be brought into court and asked about paying a judgment against him, he would either have to admit to having the money and pay up immediately OR admit that the money is fake, and that he's actually broke. Either way, you win. You either get paid, or you get him admitting on the record that he's broke and all of the money is fake. Then, if he still pretends to be rich in subsequent videos, others who bought his system or coaching could take him to court for misrepresentation.

At the 2nd precinct i went to in LV, i demanded to speak with a supervisor. After explaining the situation the supervisor agreed that although this seemed like a civil matter, i definitely needed to file a report and have a paper trail.Quote:

Unfortunately since I live in Henderson and not LV, he said i would need to file the report in Henderson. He said I could give them his name when I went to make the report.
I never thought the police would be able to do anything, i simply want it as a official record to present to the attorney, not that it's really needed but extra "proof" that I'm telling the truth.....otherwise I'd be filing a false police report.
I reached out to several attorney's who basically said they didnt deal with these type of things. I tried to contact the Nevada Bar to get a reference to am attorney that would at least hear the details but nobody had got back with me yet.
I'm definitely not taking this laying down.
If I could get him into court, no matter the outcome, it would be a win in my book

This is ILLEGAL internet fraud and is a felony. Again, still probably going to fall under the lowest priority, but Hoosier needs to atleast try which is calling the FBI and have their report takers document everything, including how he messaged Bob and it was CM doing more identity theft. If it doesnt land on a field officers desk, then atleast he tried as far as he could go, BUT ATLEAST TRY.

The FBI gets tonnnnnnnnnnnnns of reports every day about internet "crimes". You'd be shocked if you saw the vast number they get every day. That's why they made it very difficult to even find a phone number for them. If they made a phone number easily available, they would get inundated with phone calls all day.
The FBI would not even bother to touch a case like this, where a guy's social security number is exposed on a paper in a video that's up for 6 hours. It's one of these things which is technically illegal, but the FBI would never touch.
CM's scamming itself would possibly be caseworthy if it occurred on a greater scale. However, right now it's simply not big enough. It's a small-time operation, which is why CM isn't actually rich. The CM "coaching" matter is one which, right now, would best be handled by a civil lawsuit or a report to the local police by actual victims. (Sadly, you and I cannot report this, as we weren't victims of CM.)
There's the other problem that selling a "winning system" by itself isn't illegal, of course. Let's say I were to sell a variation of card counting which I believed gave people an additional edge, but it turned out I made a math mistake, and my system was actually -EV. This wouldn't be a crime -- at worst I could be sued for misrepresentation.
It's only a crime when you're knowingly selling a shit system and claiming it wins. Clearly that's what CM is doing. However, law enforcement could easily get confused by all of this, and simply believe it's a civil matter, like in my example above. A dedicated detective could put together a lot of CM's false claims (such as stories about winning "every time" or "winning $5,000 on average per session"), and connect that to his false claims about his system winning. Still, authorities don't usually touch stuff like this. That's how some of these scammer sportsbetting touts like Vegas Dave get away with it.
With YouTube, it's all about who you know. If I were friends with a middle manager at YouTube, CM's channel would be shut down today. There are plenty of violations he's already committed. Sadly, I'm not friends with a manager at YouTube, but if someone could connect us with one, attention could be brought to his channel, and it could be deleted.
You're correct that, in general, YouTube doesn't like removing controversial channels, especially when copyright issues are not in play. However, it can still be done if you reach the right people.

As far as how big CM's scam goes, its documented he's stealing name, images from FB accounts, creating his own to impersonate them as a client in his FB group. Again, 90K scammed in 5 months and growing EASILY warrants FBI's attention along with the identity thefts to go along with aiding in his scams. I can not confirm or deny what I know about Robert Hesley (the guy hoosier thought he was contacting) However, he would be a credible withness if subpoena'd or contacted by the FBI, that I KNOW OF NOW.
We can agree to disagree but youve got the respect level of your forum members so they deserve better advice. If the roles were reversed and CM did that to you and still telling his viewers every video since its definitely you. would you say fuck it, not worth reporting it for documentation purposes atleast? let alone litigation ammo since hoosier is in same city as him and restraining order and/pr lawsuit would easi;y ne won by hoosier as long as he exhausted EVERY avenue

At first when I listened to Kevin's videos, I wondered why the guy couldn't pronounce "strategy" correctly, but then after listening to a lot of them, I realized that was the only word he was mispronouncing, and it had to be some kind of joke or inside reference.
Kind of like how I say "ar-chives" with a soft "ch" sound, as an old reference to a caller who pronounced it incorrectly, and people actually believe I don't know how to pronounce the word.
Anyway, let's get away from the infighting here and focus on the task at hand.
Almost everyone has words they may pronounce slightly different. There are times where I post and I have time to really try to be thorough. Other times I am tired or just don’t have time to really fix it up properly. I know this is a forum & when I post something I need to be ready for all types of criticism including mistakes, my opinion, my writing style or even just a personal attack. Some will be constructive, some not & some just down right mean-spirited. Of course that happens more in the other sections but nevertheless some will happen here.
This is a tough time I know I have been basically isolated by myself coming up on three months. There is more than one way to skin a cat. We can disagree without making it personal. Let’s not have Christopher Mitchell read this and enjoy us shooting at each other too much if we can help it. Or you can tell me to go fuck myself. Either way.
