There are more than two evils working in Syria.
There's too much heat associated with CW and not enough profit for west to bother anymore. They make more from selling conventional weapons. I literally have no fucking clue what is really going on in Syria. Kind of depressing. Of the entities who probably know for sure what are going on (Russia, Syrian rebels and govt, media on the ground) I don't really trust any of them not to just flat out lie to push their own agenda.
