The times Shooz flew over from England 2 friends came along. One of those 2 worked for an airline, so they all flew cheap. On his last known trip here Shooz mentioned that the situation was going to change and he didn't know if he would be flying to vegas again anytime soon. Shooz became less active and after a while when he did post a few peeps relentlessly trolled him. Shortly after he said fuck it and stopped posting.

Of course the problem with that is average illegal immigrant costs taxpayers 8-10,000 annually depending on the study. We spend roughly 80-115 Billion annually providing programs to illegal immigrants.

So the wall could pay for itself pretty quickly.

Compare Times Square of the 1980s to now. It's a staggering difference.

I realize that's a much smaller area than the bad neighborhoods of Chicago, but the same concept applies.

I feel that liberals throw up their hands and give up too easily on cleaning up dangerous neighborhoods, assuming that it's a complex social problem which cannot be changed without massive social reforms and decades for them to take effect.

In reality, a lot of violent crime occurs because the opportunity is there, and because a relatively small percentage of bad apples are influencing those who could go either way between good citizen and criminal.

Increase police presence in these areas, dial down the tolerance for any crime, and lock up the worst and repeat offenders for longer. It's amazing how quickly things will suddenly fall into line.

The fact is that most people in poor neighborhoods are law-abiding and just want to live in peace.

Ever since the beginning of the war on police by Obama and friends (known as "The Ferguson Effect"), crime has spiked up in major US cities, with the trend continuing that way. This was after 23 straight years of decreased crime.

America has taken this planet to another level with its space exploration and contribution to the field of science. Yet no other country has contributed more to the actual downfall of our planet.

It was a follow up to "Hoop Dreams" the documenty that followed two kids from the high school Isiah Thomas went to. Took 8 years to film. (Think "Boyhood" except it was interesting).

Loved the movie.

Looking back it seems the Chicago gangs gave the athletes a pass and I guess cash for shoes & gear too.

The only problem in Chicago is the old school housing projects got demolished and the gangs were scattered. The Capos were separated from the soldiers. Discipline and the code of honor were lost.
