True, but for Rory to just now say he was at his best tonight might be the worst thing anyone has ever said from a marketing standpoint after losing this badly.

Judges had the winner right but am I the only one surprised the hometown judges were so harsh to Rory. Two of them had it 50-45. The 48-47 didn't surprise me but the other two seeing it as a white wash kinda did. Usually the judges are slightly enamored with the hometown guy. Guess maybe they should send Canadian judges to Brazil to show them the definition of unbiased fight judging and maybe to a lesser degree just fight judging in general for some of those hacks that NV uses who make themselves look like idiots at least once per fight card or more.
For those of you who know me from the FSWT you know I like having good info when I make bets.
Would have liked to have known the AC was out in the facility when some of my early leans were to fights going the distance.
I got Wonderboy at EVEN last night; this guy has been great for my BR. Hope Woodley somehow beats Lawler so I can fire my entire BR on Wonderboy when he gets his title shot.
The O'Connell/Bosse fight was the best I have seen all year.
HERE, I'LL HOLD YOUR HAND AS WE REVIEW HIS UFC LOSSES.
CERRONE
WONDERBOY
CUNG LE (WHICH I STATED WAS AN EXCEPTION)
LAWLOR
BELCHER (WHEN HE WAS IN CONTENTION)
ANDERSON THE FUCKING GOAT
LUTTER (WHEN HE WAS A CONTENDER, BARELY I GUESS)
LEBEN
DOERKSEN
TITO
ALSO, HE WAS COMING OFF A 3 FIGHT WIN STREAK (WITH KO WINS OVER RIGGS AND BEN SAUNDERS), AND HAD WON 8 OF HIS LAST 10.

#BREAKING: UFC reportedly sold for $4.2 BILLION.
A post-Rogan UFC is a weird beast to imagine...
http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/5/19...the-ufc-if-the
Honestly I think Rogan outgrew his role. For the longest fucking time he did it for free and then one day they kicked him up to serious money but he had to be a hype man / talking head.
Pretty sure he has millions (plural) in the bank and just wants to get high and roll with Eddie Bravo and do his podcasts and never have to worry about getting to another shitty crack of dawn flight to Rio or Calgary or any other third world shitholes ever again.
DEM SALE TALKS ARE BUBBLING TODAY. FINALLY GOT SOME NAMES TO GO WITH THE OFFER. I'M EVEN HEARING IT'S A DONE DEAL. WE'LL SEE.
http://www.thescore.com/mma/news/1046902
Certainly plausible.
But everyone has a price, no matter how much money you have.
The reports are that the new owners see Dana is irreplaceable and will keep him to run the show, and while obv Rogan isn't on that level he is one of the "founding fathers" so to speak in his role. I can't imagine they wouldn't take the same attitude with him on the broadcast side. And pay him whatever is enough to make him stay. (now that he has put it out there he will leave if it is sold...allegedly).
Rogan definitely has some leverage and I just think he is trying to use it. We shall see.
More detail on the sale....

Multiple sources confirmed with FloCombat on Monday afternoon that a bid of $4.2 billion from a group consisting of WME-IMG, the Dalian Wanda Group, The Kraft Group and Tencent Holdings was accepted by Zuffa brass. While this does not mean the entire company is officially sold, it is a strong likelihood that the sale will be completed shortly.
A sealed bidding process handled by the investment bank Goldman Sachs accepted private bids from a number of companies. Initially, many of the companies were filing separate bids.
But unable to come close to the valuation Zuffa was looking for, they combined into two groups. One featured WME-IMG (led by Zuffa confidant Ari Emmanuel), the Dalian Wanda Group, The Kraft Group (owners of the New England Patriots and other sporting properties) and Tencent Holdings, the owners and operators of the largest internet portal in China.
The other group that submitted a sealed bid was China Media Capital. FloCombat sources indicate the CMC bid fell well short of the sought-after valuation. In 2014, there were discussions with The Blackstone Group about a potential sale, but it fell through. And in 2015, sources indicate FOX made an offer to purchase the company, but the offer sheet was less than half of what Zuffa sought.
Our sources reiterated once again that Dana White will be staying with the company. His current shares in Zuffa will be sold as part of the deal, but he will be granted new shares to stay on in his current promotion capacity. A new CEO will be selected to handle emerging international businesses; the name we were told is Garry Cook, the former head of the Manchester City football club. White would continue to handle the promotional end of the company—with matchmakers Joe Silva and Sean Shelby staying on board in their current roles—while Cook focused on expanding business dealings in new emerging markets.
We'll update this story as it continues to develop.
USADA has already tested Brock 5 times since he signed.
Tencent Holding has been busy, firing off big money for acquisitions.

HONG KONG -- Tencent Holdings Ltd. and its partners will pay $8.6 billion to buy the Finnish maker of the "Clash of Clans" mobile game, a deal that will catapult the Chinese internet giant to the global top of the fast-growing mobile game industry.
They ain't just taking pee, they get blood most times too, especially when dealing with someone they have any suspicions about at all.
While the USADA rules are always written favorably for the organizations that hire them, make no mistake about how mad-dog they can get when testing athletes they want to catch. They gloat when they catch people, and the bigger the athlete's profile, the better USADA looks. They know when the spotlight is on them, and they react accordingly. They know the general mma fan thinks Brock got an unfair exemption, so they are doing everything they can to counter-act that. That means tests like a motherfucker. They even flew the main USADA guy Novitzky out to assneck Canada or wherever to meet Brock the day after he signed, to let Brock know the USADA deal and that they'd pretty much be seeing him all the time in the next few weeks.
Mickey Gall is fighting CM Punk at UFC 203 in Cleveland. He's -300 on Bovada.
Should I bet this now, or do some fish actually bite and push the line even further, before I eventually punt my entire stack on Gall?
Former UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo has been killed in a hit & run incident in Edmonton. This shit just doesn't happen very often here.
RIP

Ex-UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Edmonton's Whyte Avenue early Sunday morning, his aunt confirmed to CBC News.
Jimmo — who went by the name "The Big Deal" when fighting — was 34.
He is perhaps best remembered from his 12-second knockout of Anthony Perosh at UFC 149 and his subsequent celebration that saw him do both the robot and the splits.
I used to live no more than 4 blocks from this place too.
Wasnt a hit and run :/
Dude got deliberately ran over after an altercation in a parking lot.
A BULLY WHO HAD IT COMING, FPS_RETARD? CHOKE ON A FUCKING DICK, FAGGOT.
It was vehicular homicide / assault with intent. That's not what hit and run is.
The black dudes stomping you down for sport then laughing and high fiving as they finished their drinks and went home to have sex with women who would at best use you as something to drape used condoms on, that was hit and run.
Great fucking fight:
Carlos Condit returns at UFC202, will face Demian Maia
Shizzmoney: if Maia does win, he's gotta get his title shot
Agreed, the stars are very much in alignment for him right now.
Id venture to guess if they catch the driver its gonna be charged as 2nd degree murder which it should. Intentionally running over the guy completely and driving off wasn't an accident it was deliberate intent which is the threshold for murder vs voluntary manslaughter. Depends but Alberta is a little more conservative vs say Ontario or the Quebecois are so I imagine they are gonna go hard at this clown and possibly plead down to vehicular manslaughter for a significant sentence (for Canada that is as Canadian Justice still is a little bit of a joke compared to the USA)
Heres the link regarding Murder vs manslaughter in Canadian law (Federal standards)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_(Canadian_law)
They found the vehicle that killed Jimmo, but no people captured/named yet.
Chiesa out with injury, some scrub in to face Ferguson.
Which fucks my parlays real, real bad.
Still haven't decided how much of a chance I give DC against Jones but considering Jones' last fight I'm tempted to fade DC honestly.. Now on the other hand. I all but guarantee Hunt knocks Brock the fuck out so bad he will be begging for Vinny Mac of the WWE to let him have a month off afterwards.. Hunt by KO Rnd 2 (if that) Brock has been play fighting for too long again he gets hit for real it maybe too late when he forgets he's in a UFC ring and not the WWE cage match against somebody pulling punches and kicking the mat.
The only thing making me question Jones' chances is cmoney picking DC.
Based on that alone I'll probably splash on DC in the name of solidarity.
