Generally fun time watching the fights last night, save a terrible fight or 2. Had a few ppl over tho, which makes the memory kinder.

So how about Vinny Barbarino The Northcutt Killer? Was +400, +450 and up everywhere. I vaguely remember reading a few years ago that it was profitable long term to bet every single UFC fight over, I think, +350 or so. That might never be more true than now, though I have no data to back that up. For every throwaway bet on a Leslie Smith, you get a monster return on a Holly Holm.

I barely found out Stipe took it, sweeeet. I went to Sherdog, first thread I see "Werdum overrated" lol. Did he look like a 40 y.o. fighting without his usual PED's or what haha.

Werdum threatening to kill the USADA tester "as a joke" was a straight up confession in my eyes and probably to USADA. Not to mention he's a 40ish and a world champion and from Brazil. I was still concerned about corruption of USADA in Brazil. It look's somewhat promising.

Based off his performance and his appearance I dont think anyone would question for a fraction of a moment that Werdum is no longer juicing.

I expect a lot more totally retarded fights in the near future, coming from people who are suddenly aware that they have about 3 minutes to end a fight before they turn into Dada 2000.

Between that and the USADA putting their foot down and not allowing these guys to deliberately dehydrate themselves to make weight and then stick an IV and refill the water tank via IV Fluids is gonna cause a dynamic shift in what weight classes some of these guys fight in.. Wouldn't be surprised if Connor never defends at 145 that's 25 below his walking around weight which is where he fought Diaz at and got shitcanned.. Hes probably ok to fight at 155 but anything lower he could be in trouble...

On a side note can we please fucking get Jones to go to Heavyweight after he beats Cormier at 200?? Jesus this musical title belt shit is hurting the division entirely because nobody can defend it or they stub their fucking toe and are out months on end.. Hell at least Mir had an excuse when he was laid up and couldn't fight (wrecking his bike and nearly getting himself killed in the process too bad he never recovered from that fiasco). UFC needs somebody who can come in and hold the title for a couple years and I'm still afraid only Jones can do that.. Then again maybe if Cormier loses he goes back to Heavyweight but I still don't know if he's the answer to Danas problems in that division..

I'm just posting this here because i'm guessing one of you will anyway. Just be forewarned, despite some decent drawing characterizations, the script and jokes are the worst thing ever penned. FPS will most likely love it and repost it 4 pages from now in this same thread.

I agree. i dont like watching Bisping fights . He is the "Rudy" of the UFC. Lots of heart but just doesn't have the genes to make it all the way.

Maybe they can move up Rory Macdonald and Stephen Thompson . Not sure why that is a Fox fight. Really think that is a great fight

Bisping is useful. He's easy money against a lot of fighter profiles and always seems to be +250'ish at best.

But Rockhold is going to reduce him to nothing but memories and a thin, greasy paste in the first round.


That said.... post USADA.... if I can get an exotic line on Bisping by dec, I'll whet my beak.

fwiw 5dimes never cancelled my ufc 200 nate bets. they took the fight off the boards but never officially cancelled/refunded the wager. which is super weird.

I had that happen on an O/U round prop on a boxing match once. When I called they said that the bet is still "pending" and that if they didn't reschedule and fight by the end of the year that the bet would be refunded. It was fucking weird.

They did end up rescheduling and having the fight, and the bet was paid as usual, though.
