I am coming from a much higher weight than you had , a different height and an older age and all of this matters. Yes all of this matters a lot.
Whatever worked for you worked for you but at the end of the day I don't really care what you did and I don't think anyone else cares what you did or what the other 25 people in this thread suggest. It is all overkill. The only one whose opinion matters is Scandy Bob because he is usually on the money on every topic.
Bottom line is what I am doing is working so far and I will adjust when the time is right
Again, if any arm chair quarterbacks want to put their money where there mouth is my wallet is open.

China, I missed most of this thread, but what is essentially your plan to drop weight at your age? Exercise, diet, small portions?

Anyone have any idea when the water weight plateau is going to kick in? I heard it was @ -10 pounds but I am not sure

No, I did not, and I ate whatever I wanted on Thanksgiving. I did weigh myself Friday and obv my weight went up overnight but it is ALL gone now and I have been dominant with my routine the 3 days following Thanksgiving.
I think you said you would be shocked if I lost 15 pounds by 12/1 so I will post a weight Friday. My guess is it will be at least 15 pounds

Weighed in @ 364.3 this morning, total loss so far thru 25 days has been 13.7 pounds
So far I have yet to have any "planned workouts" and have been on a calorie limit and feel I have been eating correctly but I can tighten that up a bit more.
Now that I have accomplished my goal of cutting my calories from a 50,000 per day to 2300 or less consistently, I will move on to phase 2 where I am going to cut my calorie intake back a bit more and add in some light exercise.

For two reasons, one you didn't even hit the pathetic low 15 pds. I thought you wouldn't hit (should have been 20+ btw minimum) and second over the last 7+days you managed 1.8 pds.
For the LAST time, drop your calories you food lovin shmuck or admit you are sand baggin it because no way you hit your goal on this pace, officially. You will never see a month of bigger losses again now for the rest of the bet.
What you should have done the day you weighed in was eat two bags of chips, drink a 2L of soda and artificially show a weight 10 pds heavier because son your going to need that cheat code.

How are things going?
Ithis thread has been motivating for me. Hoping to lose 15 pounds by next Christmas myself. 20 pounds of I ever want to get back into competitive sports. Not having stamina sucks.
Also its probably been said but I can't find it.... How do you prove the weight loss?
Things have been ok but could be doing much better and will be kicking things into overdrive soon
As far as proving the weight loss when the bet is over I will do the same thing I did when I started , I will go to a gym with a doctor scale and video my weigh in as well as video it on an electronic scale side by side.
If anyone who bet knows anyone in the area who wants to go to the weigh in I am fine with that too.
The guy who bet me $5,000 ish watched the weigh in over face time. I also weighed in for him a week before and my weight was consistent with the bet weigh in.

True but when you start shy of 400 pds and you factor in its his first 4-6 weeks... it is a very weak loss thus far because it only gets harder.
Starting near 400 pds within 6 weeks on a moderate diet and exercise eliminating all the junk that kept you at 400... dude should be down large. jmo
