Ive said it before, I'll say it again:
The GOP took concrete, definitive steps to keep America's bible belt stupid. They slashed funding for education and then went after the arts, then went after abortion to make sure little country stupid GOP voters would pop out of all those good Christian pussies, about 1 per year from age 18 on. They literally created an Undernation of Ignorance born and bred to fight their wars and vote them into positions of power, using the bible like a Manchurian Candidate's queen of diamonds.
What they didnt stop and consider was that if you train people to be fucking retarded, any grifter with suitable resources can deal them the same card while cleaving them from establishment loyalty, all by simply pointing out that they are broke and their task masters are not.
Trump's entire pitch is "You guys are losers, the establishment is playing you. Vote for me, look how successful I am, I'll fix everything. Dont worry about how, questions are for faggots. I didnt get rich by asking questions, I'll fix everything, and even if I dont, FUCK THESE GUYS OVER HERE AMIRITE?."
And that truly is a wrap, right there.
About time somebody did this. Pretty good work right here...

Not a fan of either party, but I'll always side with the one that is for a women's right to choose, doesn't think this country was founded and based on Christian beliefs to the point where they have to shove their Evangelical views down our throats all the while claiming "Christianity is under attack", doesn't want to continue on with a failed drug policy, doesn't think climate change is a hoax, and doesn't think that being war mongers is the answer to all our foreign policy issues.
Here's some funny irony that hit me today... So, obviously all the talk now is about a contested convention if Trump doesn't get the full amount of Delegates needed. The GOP is now saying "even though the will of the people is obv on Trumps side, let the party decide"... Ok, all well and good, except... Now they are going to block Obama's nomination to the Supreme Court... And their justification? "LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE IN THE NEXT ELECTION!!!!" It's like these jokers aren't even trying anymore to hide their ridiculousness.
We are being lead by leaders lesser than us... Hired guns who only care about gaining support by appeasing corporations and their fucked up agendas, and not what's best for this country. It's fucking sad.
when this election has been completed, I would love to see some stats about this thread. In particular, how many POSITIVE threads expressing information about the poster's candidate's campaign, compared to posts by posters where they trash, post falsehoods, memes, biased comedy videos and mock the Opposition's campaign.
It's been a couple months since I've heard Trump give a speech. That fucker is sounding presidential.
This is one of the funniest Bill Burr bits and so true.

Trump's done some amazing things. He's thrown the Dan Druff wing of the republican party into the trash bin of history, just kidding. You can't count those guys out, Ted Cruz could be getting sworn in as pres next year and it wouldn't surprise me. When you see the entire Republican party trying so hard to dethrone Trump, you have to assume some of his ideas are actually reasonable.
Fuck the supreme court vacancies, I can't vote for Hillary. She's a conservative trojan horse. $200K per speech for Goldman Sachs, wrap your head around that. She is to the right of Donald Trump, only reason she's a Democrat or a contender for pres. is because she married Bill. Michele Obama might as well run in 2024.
We really need the Bernmeister.
Vegas, I was just fucking with you. There's some important issues at stake but abortion isn't one. Republicans use abortion as a carrot on a stick to get their evangelical base to vote. You know, those people that hang outside abortion centers fucking with every one. Truth is Republicans don't don't give a fuck about the poor and the black people getting abortions, they probably like it.
Have you ever been deep into a PFA radio show and heard Druff break down in tears over all the babies being aborted? Has Scalia or C. Thomas had a meltdown in court over the aborted babies? No! those fuckers (not Druff, he's a closet liberal) probably eat babies for lunch.
Issues that matter:
Climate change is reaching a critical tipping point. The entire world follows our lead and the Republican party has went anti-science:0 It's fucking insane. What the fuck are we going to do with these guys. Citizens united is important, survival of the middle class, war, guns, a bunch of shit. Abortion isn't one. Republican's want to fuck up healthcare as well.
just saying.
Like 20 videos in the top slider on this site, ground zero in the middle of the AZ Trump roadblock. Good quality shit.

At the Trump rally today in Arizona, a guy in a KKK hood got stomped on by a Black Guy.
This clip pretty much exemplifies the level of discourse and intelligence of both trump supporters and protesters. Nothing more than a circus show. Seriously feels like you are at a festival.

It's sad really in terms of the state of American politics. Canadians are generally shocked by the level of religiosity that takes part in American elections. Especially given the fundamental principle of separation of church and state.
Canada ourselves had a bit of a revolution a few years ago. But it was 100% opposite from how things are playing out in USA. It brought people together and was some without such dirty tactics. The quote below explains it best. The man below rode a bike to work everyday and was a true man of the people. I was lucky enough to meet him several times. Even hard right wingers loved the guy.

Black Guy who attended the Trump Rally, describes the experience
This thread has been all over the place, full of fun and emotion, But it seems to be ignoring the 2000 pound gorilla in the room.
Unless she get indicted, there is a very good chance that this cunt is your next fucking president.

Here's the thing about politics for the average citizen: We usually have to pick the lesser of two evils.
So, for the record... Do you prefer the likely alternative (Trump)?

Let's put reference some historical footage to see why the lack of violent behavior by the rally attendees doesn't mean squat about whether a politician is calling for unjust violence as an option against against a targeted minority.
For example, look at all of those peaceful attendees at these rallies.

I mean far be it for anyone to call out a commie as they display their true colors in broad daylight.
Anyone watch the CNN documentary series "Race For The White House"? Narrated by Kevin Spacey, each episode takes a look at the politics played during historical Presidential campaigns. They've out Ken Burns'd Ken Burns.

Is there a single alpha male (that isn't a retard who thinks gangbanging is life - had to throw out Chris Brown and T.I.) that is anti-Trump? Of course throw out every politician who's way of life is being threatened too of course. I will pay $20 on bcp per example.
This election is really exposing all the No Ball Pussies of America. How is it not obvious we need to make America great again? Who cares if Trump is a clown who says questionable things, hes just the only one with big enough balls to get us started. Get our shit together or we wont be #1 superpower in 2040, simple fuckin shit.
I'm a quarter of the way thru. Plenty of interesting quotes and other juicy nuggets.

Typical right wing, knee jerk reaction. These aren't fourth graders on the playground.
Is it any surprise that one very few wealthy and powerful in all of Cuba isn't thrilled about change coming to Cuba?
Well is it? Meanwhile the army of "have nots" were shouting "I love you Obama".
Obama's not some bombastic buffoon like many right wingers. He's not going to throw a tantrum a take his toys, jump on his jet and go home. He's not going fuck the entire Cuban population because he a awkward photo op Drudge threw up. He's the man and don't you forget it! We clear?
I give up, I don't know who's on who's side anymore. Can anybody get a handle on this?

People who promote wars as good for the economy often refer to how WW II pulled the US of of the Great Depression, and then the booming time of the 1950s. But the US came out a huge winner from the war because, in part, of all of the money that was lent to the UK for the war, and then was selling Western Europe on credit (under the Marshall Plan) a huge amount of industrial goods and machines to retool their economies.
The UK, which fought Nazi Germany from the beginning, essentially went bankrupt from the war, and its economy suffered terribly after it in order to pay back the US. A friend of mine who grew up in Portsmouth right after the war described how, because they were so poor, when eating an apple, the only thing he wouldn't eat were the seeds (which contain some arsenic), and the stem. Not like what most of us throw away these days, which he would have considered a near-bonanza back then.
Bill Clinton is THE Master of molding his message to be in sync with the pulse of the voters. He absolutely knows that the American middle class is frustrated with the lack of wage growth in this recovery. So in order to position Hillary as someone who is going to rescue the middle class from the growing inequity of the spoils of the economy between the rich and the middle class, he *has* to characterize the anemic recovery under Obama as an "awful legacy".
Because Hillary is trying to establish the brand of her presidential candidacy as someone who is going to be a *lot* more aggressive in boosting the fortunes of the middle class than Obama has. Definitely not as aggressive as Bernie Sanders has called for, but definitely more than Obama, who are *way* too often let the GOP run roughshod over him on that matter.
