A girl who I went to school with is an ICU nurse in Charlotte. I don’t talk to her, but my buddy and her were a couple way back and have always stayed in contact through the years. She said she lost a 38 year old mother a few nights ago. Her father in law had gotten it and passed, but the 38 year old passing was rough on the staff. Said she reported no health issues. Maybe she had something underlying, but nothing in the medical record.
I’m curious for another Daly check in. I saw Miami-Dade had a 100 % increase in ER admissions.
Iirc, he’s Palm Beach County.
Not much choice but to live life, but fall/winter man, it feels like a bloodbath in the making with all these cases circulating. I really hope the vaccine talk isn’t just wishful thinking.
Granted being at altitude is not easy but have also noticed dips in running stamina - still running 3-6 miles 6x week but it's much more of a chore.
Wife had a positive as well but never had symptoms.
I remember when Sloppy Joe posted about "possibly" having it, I said that he had it for almost certain, given his very specific symptoms. However, I know he's like 33 and claimed his case was fairly mild, so these after-effects are surprising to read.
Sounds like some possible lung damage occurred here? Do you see any other signs that you're not the same since recovering, aside from not being able to do fairly strenuous exercise?
There's so many unknowns about this thing. That's why I'm just doing my best to avoid it, especially given that I'm 15 years older than Sloppy Joe.

At the gym I coughed up a hocker in a weak area of my lung that’s been there since the pups and mine covid sx. I recommend DAILY cardiopulmonary exercise and healthy diet to return your body to normal function. I may make the leap to donate blood again because of my hyperhealth lately, and they now test for antibodies which I would then make a I GOTS THE BODIES necklace to combat weirdo mask people.

My step-sister is your age Druff and she’s a nurse in the DMV area and test positive a little over a month ago. For about two weeks she had fever, fatigue, cough, congestion, muscle aches etc. Muscle aches were worst part. Also lost senses of taste and smell. What’s weird is her fever would go away and then come back a day or two later pretty strong, and that happened multiple times.Quote:
